Therapy With Zoe

I bring a wide variety of trauma-informed treatment modalities to my work with clients. I do this as I believe there is no one-size-fits-all formula to therapy and that treatment with each client should be tailored to what works best for them. Foremost among these approaches is Narrative Therapy. I am also versed in Internal Family Systems, Attachment Theory, and Solution-Focused Treatment. I have received former training in EMDR, which I am capable of incorporating into my work with clients.

I take a non-judgmental, anti-oppressive perspective to my work with clients. I believe that our struggles are not merely biological and psychological, but are also widely informed by our social experiences with living in a world that is so often stacked against us. I believe that healing the causes of our issues often requires explicitly addressing the impact of structural inequality on our mental health.

I prioritize working with individuals who identify as queer, transgender, non-binary, polyamorous, autistic, neurodivergent, disabled, chronically ill, and/or racially marginalized. I recognize that these communities have often been mistreated in mental health settings and am committed to providing an affirming therapeutic experience. I come to this lens not just with professional expertise but also with lived experience navigating many of the issues I work to help others heal from.

SCHEDULING

I see clients virtually Tuesday through Friday, by appointment only. My appointments are 50-minutes, which is the standard ‘therapy hour’. I believe that therapy works best when it is routine and prefer to meet with clients on a weekly basis, but am open to other arrangements if necessary. I am licensed to work with clients who are located anywhere within Pennsylvania. I do not currently see clients in person.

Finances

My fee per 50-minute session is $150. I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for people with financial barriers to treatment. I am not in-network with any insurance policies at this time.

Initial Consultation

I offer a free brief consultation to prospective clients as an opportunity to see if we are a good match for treatment. During this consultation we will discuss main desires for treatment, outline all relevant guidelines, discuss payment structure, and answer any general questions. If we decide to work together I will send you intake paperwork and schedule our first appointment. Please reach out here to schedule your consultation.
